The primary purpose of this MACHINIST LEADER, WL-3414-11, is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially full time and continuing basis. The Leader is responsible to both perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensures that subordinates completed assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards. Responsibilities Lead a team of three or more machinists and on a regular and recurring basis assists team members by instructing, demonstrating or providing instructions or training to team members as it relates to skill, knowledge and technical aspects of the shop. Perform journeyman level machinist operations on various aerospace components and other machining projects.
