We need a Metallic Machinist to join the team milling parts for the race car and our external customers to tolerances that leave no room for a second attempt. Low volume, high accuracy, fast paced, this is machining where every setup counts.

• Carrying out machining operations as directed by your Team Leader, hitting deadlines throughout.
• Flagging machining problems early where they risk causing delays.
• Collaborating with Toolpath Programming to solve first-off machining problems and suggest improvements to quality or runtime.
• Working with fellow machinists and other areas of the business to establish and use best practice.
• Inspecting first-off components thoroughly, confirming correctness before running the rest of the batch to the same standard.
• Recording shop floor data accurately using Data Collection Software.
