Identify problems before production runs, then start and observe machine operation to detect situations causing out-of-tolerance conditions, make necessary correction.
Read work order, job travelers, and precision measuring instruments to determine dimensions, and tolerances are within specifications.
Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
