Key Responsibilities
- Application Development : Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using languages such as COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
- System Maintenance : Troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform performance tuning, and upgrade system software as needed.
- Collaboration : Work with system analysts, project managers, and other IT professionals to gather requirements and specifications for new applications or modifications to existing ones.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of code, processes, and system configurations to ensure clarity and compliance with standards.
