Position Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop, deploy, and support new and existing mainframe-based applications throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Coordinate with clients and IT personnel to analyze system requests and develop specifications for new projects or maintenance.
  • Prepare unit and integration test plans and perform testing in cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough problem analysis regarding technical systems and application programs, documenting findings and proposing resolutions.
  • Serve as a Project Lead for smaller projects and act as a mentor for less experienced engineers.
  • Prepare user and operational documentation for all programming work performed.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities to support production as needed.
