Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mainframe Storage Administrator to support enterprise Mainframe (System z) storage platforms and initiatives. This role encompasses end-to-end systems engineering activities across storage infrastructure, including design, implementation, optimization, and operational support for mission-critical environments.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in mainframe storage (DASD, tape, replication) technologies along with strong problem-solving capabilities, the ability to operate independently, and experience working on complex, high-impact projects. This role also includes mentoring junior team members and collaborating across engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable, resilient solutions.
