Position Overview

            Plant Functions 
Ensure plant is always in a state of readiness for maximum operation 
Perform maintenance and repairs as and when required 
Ensure critical parts and spares always available and fully functional. 
Ensure all safety features are functional and entire plant is in a safe condition. 
 General Functions 
Ensure plant is operational daily 
Ensure critical spares readily available 
Conduct Daily; Weekly; Monthly; Quarterly and Bi Annually checks as required by QMS 
Ensure all equipment that need to be calibrated, are calibrated and certified. 
Supervise maintenance assistant 
Adhere to all safety requirements as per policy and procedures. 
Ensure forklifts are in a safe condition and checklist are completed daily and signed off 
 
Administration and Reporting Functions 
Purchase orders
