**Job Description:**

The Maintenance Worker II – General is a position in the Facilities Management department. The position focuses on general maintenance and the caregiver may be assigned to work in a variety of areas of focus. The level II role demonstrates competency in a broad area of general maintenance.
**Shift: 7am-330pm Monday- Friday**

**on call shift of one week required and some possible nights and weekends**

**Essential Functions**

+ Performs routine to moderately complex maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing damaged walls or floors.
+ Assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of hospital equipment and systems.
+ Responds to emergency maintenance requests and provides immediate assistance to resolve the issue.
+ Works independently or under the supervision of a facilities management leader.
