Summary This position is located at the MWR Maintenance Department at Naval Weapons Station located in Yorktown, VA. The purpose of this position at the entry level provides assistance to journey level workers in more than one of the skilled trade occupations by performing simple and routine tasks. Responsibilities Ensures security of all guests is always maintained. Ensures guest privacy is always maintained. Performs recurring assignments, e.g. follow up on maintenance requests reported by guests, housekeeping or front desk. Incumbent assists in performing work in at least two of the following trades in the maintenance and repair of buildings and related fixtures. Maintains work order log and follow up as required. Reports status to supervisor. Logs trouble calls with contractor as appropriate.
