General Description

Performs general maintenance and preventative maintenance duties required to repair and maintain various types of college property and equipment. Primarily utilized for general and preventive maintenance, emergency repairs to assure continuance of the Facilities Operations and to allow for flexibility and versatility of the department. Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities • Under direction, installs equipment, repairs and maintains the ,upkeep of campus buildings, plumbing facilities including fixture, pipelines, sewer traps using a variety of testing devices and tools requiring a skill level and responsibility characteristic of a lower level mechanic.

• Assists in routine maintenance utilizing building trades including, but not limited to, electrical, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, glazing, locksmithing, masonry, painting, and landscaping of all College owned or operated facilities.
