**Job Summary**

Southern Industrial Constructors seeks Maintenance Mechanic for an on-going site in the West Jefferson, NC area. This is a second shift position : 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Perform Daily PM's as scheduled for equipment at the site.
+ Repair and maintain equipment in accordance with OEM specifications. This includes machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, ballscrews and PLC's for production equipment.
+ Ability to diagnose and make repairs on variety of plant equipment and systems.
+ Diagnose equipment failure and institute action to return equipment to normal operations.
