Responsibilities Relays work instructions received from the supervisor, gets work started, works along with other workers, and sets the work pace. Demonstrates proper work, safety and housekeeping methods and procedures and assures that they are followed. Assures that needed plans, materials, tools, and equipment are available and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations. Obtains needed information or decisions from the supervisor on problems that arise during the work, maintains a current knowledge and answers questions on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives.
