Responsibilities Supervise the day‐to‐day maintenance functions and personnel, including scheduling labor to meet plant and equipment requirements and assigning responsibilities and tasks. Provide support by troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, training, and sharing information with other maintenance personnel. Actively participate with Operations in plant improvement initiatives. Ensure all mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and structural repairs and improvements are performed to industry and Saputo standards. Evaluate maintenance personnel skills and abilities and establish a training program for development within the department. Coach and develop maintenance employees to achieve continuous improvement in performance levels. Advise the Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, Department Managers, and Supervisors on equipment issues and their impact on production output.
