Position Overview

            Roles & Responsibilities:  1. Breakdown Response & Repair  Respond independently to machine breakdowns during shift 
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults 
Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, contactors, switches 
Repair gearboxes, bearings, belts, pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems 
Restore equipment operation safely and efficiently 
Perform basic PLC fault checking (I/O status, alarm review, reset only — no program modification) 
Monitor SCADA alarms and take corrective action within defined scope 
Escalate complex, repeated, or system-level issues immediately to Technician 3, Senior Technician, or Supervisor 
Perform basic alignment work (belt alignment, coupling alignment) when required
