The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include startup and shut down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boiling work, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, or other systems. Reports to Chief Engineer.
Level III (Advanced Level) technician must be able to troubleshoot, component repair and work independently effectively. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; understanding mechanical systems (e.g., belts); repairing /replacing faulty components; reading/interpreting technical manuals/schematics, cutting, and pipefitting; responding to emergency breakdowns.
