Summary The Smithsonian Institution is the world's largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located in the Smithsonian Office of Protection Services (SOPS) which is responsible for the protection and security of all Smithsonian Institution facilities. OPS integrates and manages the work of all OPS security units across the Smithsonian, approximately 1200 staff and contractors, in a 24/7 operation. Responsibilities The Management and Program Analyst supports and enhances OPS security program operations by developing and evaluating security policies and procedures and recommending improvements to security programs associated with the Allied Security contract. This position also consults and works with the Office of Contracting & Personal Property Management (OCON/PPM) to fulfill OPS contracting needs, requirements, and responsibilities.
