Overview

Aviation Maintenance Operations Manager for GAL Aviation Maintenance Program manages and supervises employees on the maintenance contract. Assists the Program Manager on maintenance, material planning, and all contract requirements and deliverables. Responsible for the overall day-to-day maintenance functions of AVIM maintenance, maintenance and material planning, production control and shops. Carries out directives of the Aviation Maintenance Program Manager and acts as the Program Manager in his absence.

• Manages all facets of aircraft maintenance production control operations, maintenance planning, day-to-day shop workload and their associated personnel by establishing and controlling work hours and overtime.
• Supervises the scheduled maintenance forecasting and planning for assets in support of operational mission requirements, the flying-hour program, and bank time goals.
