Overview
The purpose of the Bakery Manager role is to drive commercial performance, operational excellence, and product quality within the bakery department. The role ensures consistent delivery of high-quality bakery products, strong sales and margin performance, compliance with food safety standards, and a positive customer experience while leading and developing a skilled bakery team.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Food Safety / Hygiene certification (added advantage)
- Baking or Food Production qualification
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a bakery or fresh food retail environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
