Position Overview The Shelter Case Manager is responsible for meeting with clients, using motivational interviewing and strength-based approaches to establish clear comprehensive rehousing plans, targets, and action steps with the goal of promoting self-sufficiency and obtaining long-term, safe, and affordable housing.
Establish reoccurring monthly rehousing meetings with families.
Provide accurate written notices of meetings according to EOHLC Uniform Shelter Rules, Scope of Services, and program requirements.
Review and address barriers to housing (credit score, criminal record, history of nonpayment, setting up bank account).
