Reporting to the Chief Capital Planning and Development Officer, the Manager, Electrical & Communications Systems is responsible for planning, upgrading, integrating, maintaining, and optimizing CHEO's electrical and non-IT communications infrastructure. This includes high and low voltage critical electrical systems, emergency power, lighting, structured cabling, patient entertainment, nurse calls, monitoring stations etc.

This leadership role ensures infrastructure safety, reliability, compliance, supports operational readiness, and business continuity. The Manager works closely with facilities operation and maintenance team, capital projects team and clinical operations team, to ensure seamless systems integration and performance.
