**Purpose**

The purpose of this position is to support the Director, International Tax on various compliance activities. Tax compliance includes ensuring that certain Canadian information returns, tax computations, tax provisions, audit information & responses to tax queries are prepared, documented, reviewed, filed, responded to accurately and on a timely basis. Some background in the _Canadian foreign affiliate_ rules is strongly preferred. This position is also likely to assist the International Tax team on the ongoing calculations of Global Minimum Tax. The incumbent applying to this role will have a strong foundation in Canadian taxation alongside multiple years of tax accounting and reporting under IFRS.
