Reporting to the Director Communications, the Manager Media Engagement leads the University’s media strategy and press office function - shaping proactive coverage, managing sensitive issues, and strengthening Otago’s reputation nationally and internationally.

You’ll be part of a trusted, experienced communications leadership team, working alongside specialists across content, digital and stakeholder engagement. This is a role where your advice matters, your expertise is respected, and your work contributes to the public good.
