Position Function:

Manages, plans, supervises, schedules, and assigns the work of electricians; coordinates the activities of the electrical staff. Services and maintains the high voltage electrical distribution system for the University.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Estimates, plans, supervises and coordinates work projects by assigning crews or electricians to specific jobs.
2. Gives input regarding the creation of a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule.
3. Supervises, schedules, and assigns the work of the electricians and outside contractors; Manages their work to assure proper staffing and quality standards.
4. Manages departmental time which includes overtime, stand by, and call back work for electrical employees. <...
