Te tūranga - The role and your impact

The Manager of the Portfolio Management team plays a key role in managing the Reserve Bank - Te Pūtea Matua balance sheet and supporting the effective operation of its participation in financial markets. You will work closely with, and be supported by, senior leadership and your managerial cohort within the Financial Markets directorate. The Portfolio Management team executes transactions in wholesale financial markets on a day‑to‑day basis to implement monetary policy, support liquidity in the domestic banking sector, and manage the Reserve Bank's portfolio of foreign reserves.
