Position Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, effectively manage the activities of the Revenue Section – property tax, utility billing, business licensing, accounts receivable, public service centre and related programs – in support of the Finance Department annual operational plans.

Major Accountabilities

Develop and manage the provision of revenue collection and public service centre programs including researching best practices and recommending improvements in revenue collection and public service centre services; developing communications plans for explaining tax programs and implementing new tax procedures; preparing policies to meet industry requirements such as payment card security; reviewing impact of changing requirements on business systems and taking remedial action; providing technical advice and preparing reports and recommendations to senior management, Council and sta...
