Overview
The Credit Evaluation Manager is responsible for the credit risk management of the corporate and commercial loans portfolio. The successful candidate will also be leading and coaching credit and marketing personnel, building a strong credit culture while balancing risk and reward with a high degree of corporate governance and ensuring efficient delivery. This role reports to the Head, Wholesale Credit (Credit Evaluation Department).
Responsibilities
- Hold responsibility for credit risk‑taking in their portfolio/region, including evaluating and approving credit within discretionary powers and within SLA.
- Exercise general oversight over banks’ credit policies (local and overseas), procedures and controls extending to all of its credit risks, including those from corporate banking, treasury, credit cards, personal banking, trade finance, securities processing and financial institutions.
