Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Operates the manipulator positioning material into the press and removal thereof after forging is complete.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Verifies correct dies are being used. 
• Loads material in furnace to be forged and pulls from the furnace and charge into press. 
• After removing, air cool, water quench, fan cool or trim as applicable.
• Assists with die set up, tear down, trim operation, checking furnace temperature for correct setting, stenciling of parts, pulling baskets and putting back in quench tank where applicable.
