**Job Title: Manual Machinist**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on precision machining work as an inside machinist, operating conventional lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, and presses. The position involves a high volume of shaft work, as well as boring and bushing of bearing housings, which make up a significant portion of the workload. You will contribute to producing accurate, high-quality components in a shop environment located in Chesapeake.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate conventional engine lathes safely and efficiently to machine shafts and other cylindrical components to precise specifications.
+ Set up and run horizontal and vertical milling machines to perform accurate machining operations on a variety of parts.
