Primary Responsibilities

Identify & execute solutions related to process flow within the plant by applying manufacturing engineering principles to improve efficiencies (Pareto, time studies, design experiments, Problem solving tools, Labor Balancing). Perform new and current program feasibility study to determine optimal process and create machine specification and source safe equipment(s) and safe solution working with cross functional team internal and/or external. Perform capacity, capability & feasibility studies to determine viability of new capital equipment purchases & assist with new product development. Take an active role in APQP, helping to develop process flow by applying Lean Manufacturing Principles, PFMEA’s, equipment and tooling specifications. Implement Corrective Actions & mistake proofing (poke yoke). Assist and implement Engineering Changes and Process Changes with cross functional team.
