The Manufacturing Engineer will review product design and manufacturing processes for the purpose of reducing and controlling costs through the analysis of labour and material. The incumbent will interact with

various departments to give technical support and recommendations for the provision of adequate tools,

equipment and methods to produce the most profitable product at the highest quality and safety standard.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead/plan projects to implement necessary changes in methods, machines used, and layout process to simplify the manufacturing process, reduce costs and ensure optimum product design.
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding current manufacturing sequence of operations through the use of Value Stream Mapping.
