JOB OVERVIEW:
The Manufacturing Lead will be responsible for day-to-day manufacturing operations at the NDS Mesa facility. The position will report to the area Supervisor or Manager. The position of Manufacturing Lead will be assigned a group of specific operations in which they will oversee and work to become the subject matter expert. The candidate will be responsible for reporting manufacturing performance for their work cell, directly train and assist in the coordination/scheduling of training activities, oversee build progress, maintain safety and quality standards, and work directly on the manufacturing line to build product as needed to cover personal breaks, absences, meet production rate, increase capacity, etc.
