Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Summary:

Create wiring harness assembly requirements based on customer drawings, specifications and/or purchase order requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Evaluate customer designs for fabrication and assembly in a production environment. Responsible for creating work instructions and supporting procedures that are aligned with the customers' requirements. Recommend alternatives to minimize cost and schedule. Responsible for reviewing tooling design and offering recommendations to management if required. Must be able to quickly identify and resolve issues affecting the completion of a manufacturing project. Determine the methods and sequences of manufacturing operations for moderately complex products. Provide technical support to production and QA to improve productivity and reduce costs.
