Summary This vacancy is for a GS-1801-13, Marine Investigator (Suspension & Revocation) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Suspension and Revocation National Center of Expertise in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Responsibilities You will serve as a Marine Investigator (Suspension & Revocation) expert with regard to the Coast Guard's Suspension and Revocation program, providing assistance and advice to the Office of Investigation and Casualty Analysis (CG-INV), Sector Commanders, and Investigations field offices on issues involving S&R, Investigative best practices, and policies. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Review pleadings for accuracy, evidence sufficiency, jurisdiction, authority, and recommend an appropriate sanction.
