Position Overview

            Job Description   Acts as the first point of contact or link between the Office and the Masters of the ships under his care. 
Provide navigational and operational information and support to the ship staff. 
Conduct scheduled Navigation, Mooring, Cargo and Bunker audit and internal audits to ensure alignment with the Company’s policies and procedures. 
Carry out ship inspections, which will include a minimum of one port or sailing visit on board with the associated reports. 
Ensure the efficient and satisfactory performance of the ships to meet charterers’ requirements. 
Assist in the selection of suitable Master, deck officers and ratings for ships under his care. 
Monitor and assess the work performance of Master, deck officers to cultivate a high-performing culture. 
Attend to Oil Major’s vetting requirements of ships under his care.
