Oversee the technical management of assigned tanker vessels, ensuring safe and reliable operations in line with company SMS, class, flag, statutory and industry requirements.
Monitor vessel condition, planned maintenance, defects, performance and operational reports; follow up with shipboard teams to close technical matters in a timely manner.
Provide day‑to‑day technical support to Masters, Chief Engineers and vessel teams, including troubleshooting, repairs and coordination with OEMs / third‑party service providers. Provide operational and commercial guidance to Masters, including voyage orders, port limitations, navigation risks, and security threats.
Monitor, coordinate and attend to vessels for CDI/SIRE/PSC inspections, statutory surveys, related matters and follow‑up.
