Turkey Farmers of Canada (TFC) is the national organization representing Canada's 510+ turkey farmers. Established in 1974 under the federal Farm Products Agencies Act, TFC oversees the turkey supply management system in Canada, promotes turkey consumption, and fosters industry-wide cooperation. Our 11-member Board of Directors — comprising farmer-elected provincial representatives alongside primary and further processing sector members — sets national production levels and guides decisions on bird care, food safety, market research, and international trade.
