Position Overview

Job Summary

The Market Development Specialist will be responsible for total territory development of the Foodservice channel via the appointed distributor in the area. He/she shall strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Objectives: Achieve sales objectives for the Foodservice channel.
  • Distributor Relationships: Strengthen relationships with distributors and manage their key accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Strategic Growth: Negotiate discounts, create strategies to grow SKU assortment, develop sales capability of DSPs, and create RTM strategies to expand customer reach.
  • Forecasting & Programs: Create forecasts and suggested Purchase Orders (POs) for product availability, and develop trade and distributor programs to meet sales objectives.
