Position Overview

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain inventory of firefighting equipment and materials ensuring accurate tracking and efficient storage.
  • Coordinate with project managers and field teams to procure necessary materials optimizing delivery schedules and minimizing delays.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders requisitions and other procurement documents adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of high-quality firefighting components.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor material usage and consumption identifying trends and recommending strategies to reduce waste and optimize resource allocation.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and conformance to specifications rejecting substandard items and coordinating returns.
