• Collaborate with technical marketing, sales and engineers to ensure materials meet technical and quality standards, advise on material-related problems during product design.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure material compliance.
• Provide materials technical expertise, customize solutions, solve complex customer problems, recommend suitable materials for specific applications, taking into account performance requirements, cost-effectiveness and availability.
• Establish training materials and material case studies to showcase expertise and build credibility.
• Catalog materials, identify, categorize and record information about different types of materials including their properties, specifications and manufacturers.
