**Job Description**

This entry-level role supports the daily operations of a busy shipping and receiving department within a manufacturing and warehouse environment. You will help ensure accurate inventory control, proper material handling, and timely movement of parts and packages to support overall plant operations, including adherence to FIFO (first in, first out) procedures and job selection processes.

**Responsibilities**

+ Understand and support the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department, including inventory control, procedures, FIFO, and job selection.
+ Accurately select parts for jobs using a pick sheet and ensure correct items are prepared for production or shipment.
+ Store incoming parts in their designated warehouse locations in an organized and efficient manner.
+ Deliver packages to other departments, including handling UPS and FedEx shipments.
