**Description**

Leidos Defense groupis seeking a Material Handler. The successful candidate will support logistics operations of the Navy Array Technical Support Center (NATSC), Newport RI, by performing physical tasks related to the handling of incoming and outgoing material.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Vehicle loading and unloading. Material receipt and issueInventory maintenance
+ Receipt, issue, and location recordkeeping (hardcopy and electronic) Daily audits and cycle counts.
+ Material movement (using hand and powered lift trucks)
+ Packaging and preparation of materials for shipment

Basic Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1-2 years’ prior experience in a logistical/planning activity.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; Interim Secret required to start.
+ Previous experience supporting warehousing activities.
