Position Overview:

The Material Manager plans laydown yard/warehouse, receives equipment and material at the job site. The Material Manager verifies that all items received match the purchase order, checks the quantity and specifications against the purchase order, and completes all necessary documentation associated with each order.

This role is expected to be a competent leader in material management to ensure success for substation, transmission or distribution projects.

Essential Functions:
+ Ensure that all activities comply with environmental, health and safety codes and procedures
+ Responsible for receiving, storing and shipping materials kept in a laydown yard and warehouse
