The position is responsible for performing and supporting the mechanical design activities associated with the development of design concepts and validations for test solutions within the Engines and Power Systems Organization.
The designer is able to provide medium to high complexity engineering design solutions across all the Honeywell sites.
- Applicant is responsible for developing mechanical design concepts, 3D and detail drawings for manufacturing of test equipment parts, special tools and assemblies for the Engineering Test Service Organization.
Test equipments includes but are not limited to vibration fixtures, lifting and handling devices, pneumatic systems, Special Tools, Pipe Spools, among others.
- The position is responsible for design integrity of detailed component, and integration of design elements at the assembly level as well as the test equipment substantiation through hand calculations or through FEA using ANSYS Workbecnh.
