We are looking for a qualified Mechanic to join our team working full-time (40-hours per week) based at Christchurch Airport . Our fleet of vehicles is a mechanic’s dream job with a vast range needing your skills, experience, and expertise. As a Mechanic at Avis Budget Group, you will handle repairs and maintenance on our vehicles in a timely, efficient, and cost‑effective manner.

• Full‑time, permanent role – 40 hours per week
• 4×10 hour shifts: Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
• Christchurch Airport based with free staff parking

What You’ll Do

• Service vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards, including minor repairs and preventive maintenance checks on fleet vehicles (e.g., replacing fluids, changing oil/air filter, tyres, brakes, fitting ski racks). This includes cars, trucks and company fleet.
