**Job Summary and Qualifications**

Performs routine repairs and have some experience in building, mechanical or equipment maintenance and operation. Has authority to call in other trades under maintenances agreements to respond during emergencies. List of emergency call list posted in the Plant Operations Shop. Maintenance Mechanic I is not responsible for on-call or call back until after 12 month evaluation and promoted to Maintenance Mechanic II.

**What qualifications you will need:**

+ High School Graduate / GED, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
+ 2 Years of experience
