Summary:
Location: Greenville, SC Duration: Months Responsibilities: Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to solve manufacturing issues on hot gas path hardware for gas turbines. Leverage analytical tools to analyze and deliver solutions for deviant hardware and provide design support to prevent repeat incidents. Own hardware redesign efforts by revising drawings to enhance manufacturability. Act as technical focal for qualifications of new processes/changes and second source suppliers. Conduct technical reviews of design tasks and help assess risks at the component, assembly, and system levels. Follow standard work and design templates for common issues, contributing to the improvement of design and manufacturing processes or methods.
