Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are now looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer in Wolverhampton.

You will be joining an experienced team, in a pre-dominantly office based role, and beresponsible for developing and delivering mechanical designs to facilitate safe and compliant installations on site.

What you would do:

• Designing in conjunction with fire strategy reports, local building regulations & planning authority requirements.
• Carrying out site surveys of existing installations where applicable.
• Producing heating/cooling (thermal modelling) and ventilation load calculations using industry software.
• Sizing and selection of AHUs, FCUs, extract fans, pumps, chillers, ASHP, boilers, plate heat exchangers etc.
• Producing above ground drainage calculations and sizing of drainage systems.
