Job Description
The Mechanical Designer creates and develops detailed 3D models in SolidWorks with a primary focus on the design and development of chassis systems and components, including chassis cabs. This role collaborates closely with Electrical Designers and shop floor teams to verify fit and function, ensuring that digital designs are accurately translated into high-quality physical builds.
Responsibilities

+ Create and develop detailed 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks for chassis systems and components, including chassis cabs.

+ Design sheet metal parts and assemblies that meet performance, manufacturability, and safety requirements.

+ Apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate dimensioning, tolerancing, and proper fit and function of components and assemblies.

+ Collaborate closely with Electrical Designers to coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces and resolve integration issues.
