S4 is looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to work on designs for special purpose machinery.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas and related data to assess factors affecting designs.
- Develop concepts and detailed 3D models for mechanical machinery or mechanisms in the CAD environment.
- Manage your workload in order to achieve deadlines. (Possible overtime when needed.)
- Consider best practice and where required, perform required calculations.
- Conform to S4’s ISO process, including storing of calculations and management of data in locations as appropriate in order to comply.
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings including general assemblies, bill of materials, and consider appropriate tolerances or special comments.
