We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in estimation, specifically within MEP companies. The candidate will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimations for mechanical engineering projects.
Responsibilities - Estimation of all HVAC, F&G detection and suppression and Plumbing systems.
- Understanding RFQ drawings, schematics, project specifications and interpreting requirements clearly for estimations.
- Floating RFQs to external vendors and internal technical team for pricing and offer compilation.
- Ability to create Technical write ups for specific bid submissions.
- Optimizing overall costs to prepare the most cost effective and compatible offer to increase win rates.
- Preparing and maintaining estimation price list and periodically updating latest costs.
- Keeping all respective RFQ and project files safe and confidential.
